About the position

The Business Analyst position within the Cash Management group at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) focuses on analyzing client and business requirements to enhance the bank's cash management capabilities. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement features that support corporate clients, ensuring that client perspectives are integrated into the development process.

Responsibilities

• Resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between functional areas and implement changes where appropriate.
• Collaborate to define and design scope for each program epics and features.
• Perform analysis and design around the business requirements and specifications.
• Ensure client perspective and input is leveraged in design of analytics developed for client use.
• Review the use feature and stories around enhancements for application changes.
• Work within cross-functional agile teams with developers, product owners, and testers.
• Help define acceptance criteria and scope of feature testing.
• Document and write business stories, define interface requirements, workflows, and presentations.
