About the position

The Cash Management and Online Account Specialist is responsible for administering and supporting all Cash Management and Online Account products and services offered by the bank. This includes merchant remote deposit, online ACH, and wire origination services. The role involves close collaboration with business development and commercial relationship managers to ensure that commercial products and services are well understood and effectively offered to potential users.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all cash management products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to commercial e-banking and remote deposit services.
  • Complete daily review of all online accounts.
  • Provide customer service for cash management and remote deposit clients, troubleshooting and resolving problems.
  • Consult and coordinate efforts with business development staff and credit departments to onboard new customers to cash management products.
  • Establish parameters and risk procedures for cash management services in collaboration with management.
  • Coordinate delivery of all e-banking services, including customer service installation and training.
  • Evaluate customer compliance with bank requirements for using check scanning services.
  • Monitor and process customer online activities, looking for anomalies and performing verification on high-risk transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer contact for auditors and problem resolution.
  • Assist Credit Administration with initial and ongoing customer reviews.
  • Maintain accurate customer lists and associated transaction limits.
  • Maintain inventory of merchant scanners, security tokens, and other products.
  • Purchase hardware from vendors to ensure adequate inventory for customer onboarding.
  • Maintain records of all cash management and remote deposit records, including applications and agreements.
  • Process and maintain records of customer fee assessments and evaluate monthly customer transaction activities.
  • Assist customers and staff in understanding the benefits and features of the bank's treasury cash management services.
  • Ensure appropriate training of business development associates and clients on commercial service products.
  • Attend joint customer calls with business development representatives as needed.
  • Serve as primary Audit contact regarding cash management and remote deposit services.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of Bank Deposit Operations and/or Retail Banking experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of business deposit products, cash management services, merchant remote deposit services, ACH, and wire services.
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills and ability to expand customer relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
  • Proven effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication, technical writing skills, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) and online meeting software.
