About The Position

The Cash & Securities Management Consultant plays a crucial role in the Investment Operations organization, overseeing transaction processing and managing the lifecycle of invested assets and portfolios. This position involves onboarding new managers, relationship management, customer support, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and reconciliations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the financial services sector in a similar investment operations capacity.
• Four-year Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience in back-office securities operations or similar roles.
• Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP and banking/treasury functions.
• Ability to problem solve and resolve issues independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building positive working relationships.
• Risk and controls awareness.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to recognize patterns and trends in data operations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with financial forecasting and cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Process and oversee transactions related to invested assets and portfolios.
• Assist in onboarding new managers and investment types.
• Manage relationships with vendors, banks, and investment managers.
• Calculate forecasts and validate expected cash flows related to investments.
• Research, analyze, validate, and process security-related transactions.
• Perform reconciliations, including exception oversight and resolution.
• Triage and prioritize scheduled work and ad-hoc requests.
• Maintain and improve workflows and procedures as needed.
• Reconcile general ledger suspense lines on a daily and monthly basis.
