About the position

The Cash/UI Analyst position at Labcorp is a remote role focused on managing and reporting on various projects assigned by the department manager. The role involves developing project plans, analyzing business problems, collaborating with other departments, and providing leadership in troubleshooting issues. The analyst will also be responsible for maintaining documentation and communicating with billing managers regarding project statuses and issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage, prioritize, track and report on projects assigned by the department manager.
• Develop and maintain project plans that effectively define objectives, scope deliverables, timeframes, and require accountability.
• Analyze, design and develop solutions to solve a variety of business problems.
• Provide leadership, guidance and expertise in troubleshooting and resolving problems.
• Collaborate with other departments/business associates and programming to analyze, understand and define business rules for department workflow and system enhancements.
• Create and maintain necessary departmental and business essential documentation.
• Recommend solutions and courses of action to provide a basis for management decisions.
• Communicate on a regular schedule with billing managers regarding issues including quantification, impact and suggested plan of action.
• May include mentoring/training fellow analysts or company-wide projects.

Requirements

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of Accounting, Analytical, Business or other related experience. Associates preferred.
• Previous Labcorp system experience a plus; previous accounts receivables, medical billing, insurance (EOB) knowledge strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical knowledge preferred; previous experience with reports, presentation of data, research of Unidentified Cash strongly preferred.
• Basic accounting principles, accounts receivable calculations such as DSO, have/need, cash factor, and bad debt preferred.
