About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team at Money Express Inc. This part-time role involves being the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support. The position requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle transactions accurately, ensuring a positive experience for clients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries or concerns.
• Process transactions efficiently and accurately using our point-of-sale system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Provide information about products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Conduct outbound calling to follow up on customer inquiries or feedback.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all areas are presentable.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the store.
• Utilize computer systems to manage inventory and customer data effectively.
• Address any customer complaints or issues promptly, escalating when necessary.

Requirements

• MUST be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Strong phone etiquette with excellent communication skills in English and Spanish; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Previous experience in client services or retail is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficient in using office equipment and computer systems; familiarity with point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
• Ability to type efficiently for data entry tasks.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
