About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive shopping experience will be key to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Operate the cash register accurately, processing customer transactions swiftly and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring compliance with cash handling procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items to assist customers in making their selections.
• Keep the front of house area clean.
• Provide support to supervisors by assisting with training new staff members when required.
• Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, striving for resolution and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cashier setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills are required for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Experience with supervising or training staff is a plus, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
