About the position

We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Southland Mall, Hayward, CA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent customer service skills, and a strong interest in technology and retail products. This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection, inquiries, and purchases
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
• Process transactions accurately using cash registers and credit card machines
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and monitoring inventory levels
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge to effectively communicate product specifications and benefits to customers

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
• Knowledge of technology sales, including appliances and technical products
• Ability to handle cash transactions with precision
• Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels and store presentation
• Proven track record in sales or a willingness to learn sales techniques
