About the position
The Cashier/Check-in/Title Clerk position at Miedema Asset Management serves as the first point of contact for all Repocast customers. The role emphasizes friendly and efficient customer service, accurate payment processing, and proper documentation for items sold. Responsibilities include managing title transfers, ensuring customer understanding of processes, and maintaining organized cash handling procedures. This position requires Saturday work and specific weekday hours, providing a structured schedule for employees.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of access for customers, providing friendly and efficient service.
- Process various forms of payment accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure proper documentation for all items taken in for sale, including titles and registrations.
- Complete necessary paperwork for transferring titles and ownership to new buyers.
- Guide customers on what to expect and where to go for item pickup or drop-off.
- Perform typical cashier duties, including counting down the cash drawer and balancing with paid invoices.
- Start contracts for customers selling items in auctions and ensure all information is accurate.
- Verify and complete title preparation for auction items that require titles.
- Troubleshoot title-related issues and ensure compliance with procedures.
