About the position
Livermore Maserati Alfa Romeo Ford and Lincoln is seeking a Service and Parts Cashier Clerk to manage customer transactions and provide excellent service. The role involves handling payments, addressing customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records, all while ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Calculate the customer's bill using the dealership's computer system.
- Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket.
- Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
- Answer phones and direct consumers to the proper department, following up in a timely manner.
- Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
- Filing (Service Repair Orders, Parts Counter Tickets, Car Deal Files, Hard Copies).
Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite is a plus.
- Ability to communicate customers' interests, needs, and requests to management and sales personnel.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Willing to submit to a background check prior to employment.
