Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Expedite all dine-in, takeout, online, and delivery orders
- Multi-task effectively while communicating with guests and knowing the entire menu
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Assist in running food when not ringing up guests
- Help with bussing tables and cleaning in the dining area when not ringing up guests
- Check orders for accuracy
Requirements
- Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and provide correct change
- Knowledge of retail math for calculating discounts and sales tax
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred, but not required
