About the position

The Cashier/Customer Service role is focused on ensuring that guests' financial transactions are handled promptly and accurately while providing exceptional service. The position involves greeting guests, assisting with purchases, and maintaining a clean dining area. The role also includes responsibilities related to inventory management and ensuring compliance with gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests' financial transactions are handled promptly and accurately.
• Provide exceptional service to guests at all times.
• Greet guests and assist with their purchases.
• Ring purchases accurately and collect money.
• Give correct change and take accountability for transactions.
• Follow instructions and work well with others.
• Clean and wipe down the dining area as needed.
• Anticipate and solve guest issues before they arise.
• Encourage guests to save points for bigger ticket items.
• Help guests register game cards and redeem prizes.
• Reconcile daily summaries of transactions and ensure security of prizes.
• Monitor games for violators and invite guests to return.
• Assist with ordering new inventory and display merchandise attractively.

Requirements

• Exceptional guest service skills and a desire to exceed guests' expectations.
• Computer, cash register, and basic mathematical skills.
• Professional appearance and effective communication skills; bilingual is a plus.
• Prior experience in a guest service and/or sales environment.
• Prior experience with cash handling.
• Obtained or currently pursuing a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of merchandise when stocking inventory and setting up displays.
• Ability to stand for long periods while on shift.
