About The Position

The Cashier/Customer Service Associate at Sportsman's Warehouse is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions efficiently, and maintaining the integrity of cash register operations. This part-time role requires mandatory weekend availability, with shifts primarily on Fridays through Sundays.

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong math and problem-solving skills.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Previous cashier experience.
• Upbeat attitude and motivation.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and thanking them upon exit.
• Clean, stock, and straighten merchandise in the front end of the store.
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
• Ensure carts are neat and orderly, providing 'wing carts' at all times.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure accuracy and adequate change.
• Accurately ring merchandise through the register and ensure all tenders balance at the end of the shift.
• Count down the till with a Department Manager at the end of the shift.
• Check in customer's firearms and fill out the proper check-in form.
• Properly issue gift cards and process loyalty program purchases.
• Request information or assistance using paging systems.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management, including assisting in other departments.
