We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate / Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, handling cash transactions, and assisting with various store operations. Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Process cash transactions accurately using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system
• Provide product information and assist customers with their inquiries
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Restock merchandise and ensure shelves are properly stocked
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
• Promote sales of jewelry and other products through effective merchandising techniques
• Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism
• Demonstrate knowledge of technical features of products to assist customers with their purchasing decisions
• Answer phone calls and provide assistance or direct calls to the appropriate department
• Maintain a high level of phone etiquette when interacting with customers

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or cashiering is preferred but not required
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Proficient in cash handling procedures and operating a cash register or POS system
• Knowledge of jewelry sales is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Multilingual abilities are an asset for better customer service experience
