About the position

As a Cashier at Zaxby's, you will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience. Your role involves taking and entering orders, handling payments, maintaining cleanliness in guest areas, and providing excellent service while adhering to standard operating procedures. Responsibilities

• Complete all training requirements including Zaxby's Front of House Development Plan and hands-on stations training.
• Provide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guests.
• Promptly greet guests as they enter and thank them as they leave.
• Maintain awareness of current promotions and explain menu items.
• Accurately complete orders and guest transactions.
• Enter guest orders accurately into the point of sale system.
• Accept payments, operate cash registers, and maintain receipts.
• Handle cash payments, count and verify tills, and record totals appropriately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment in guest areas.
• Stock paper goods, condiments, serveware, and beverages.
• Prepare menu items according to company standards and in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Ensure food and beverages are handled according to safety regulations and guidelines.
• Assist with kitchen and back of house tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
