About the position

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. You will manage the flow of guests in the restaurant while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
• Assist guests with menu inquiries and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest relations at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred.
• Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for guest interactions.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
