Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a smile and welcome them to the restaurant.
- Promote a fun and positive work environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with cooks and managers.
- Be knowledgeable about all menu items to make meal suggestions and answer questions.
- Verify guest orders for accuracy and manage 'to-go' orders.
- Process POS transactions and follow cash handling procedures.
- Visit tables after food delivery to ensure guests have everything they need.
- Encourage guests to complete surveys and adhere to marketing promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, dining area, and restrooms.
- Follow company cash policies to minimize losses through theft or shortages.
- Upsell food items through thoughtful suggestions.
Requirements
- No experience necessary; training will be provided.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes up to 25 lbs.
- Availability to work variable hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Adherence to Smashburger uniform policy.
- Ability to follow all guidelines and procedures set forth by Smashburger and local regulations.
- Must be able to produce authorized U.S. work documents.
