Responsibilities

• Count and verify the assigned till/cash drawer at the beginning of the shift.
• Familiarize oneself with the menu.
• Cheerfully greet guests and take their orders.
• Make recommendations on popular dishes or personal favorites.
• Remain attentive to guests' conversations as they relate to their orders.
• Answer questions, recommend items if asked, and offer substitutions for side items.
• Ring up the order and repeat the final order back to the guest when complete.
• Give a pager to the guest and direct them to the Host or Beverage Station if not on a wait.
• Check identification for age verification when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Keep the work area clean throughout the shift.
• Perform other job-related activities as required or assigned by the manager.
