About the position

The Cashier Outfitter at Bass Pro, LLC is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by efficiently checking out merchandise through the POS registers. This role involves engaging with customers, promoting products, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience while maintaining product knowledge and awareness of sales.

Responsibilities

• Check out customer's merchandise through the POS registers.
• Provide world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly manner.
• Remain knowledgeable about products and advertised sales.
• Stock and straighten shelves and pegs when not directly ringing up products.
• Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying their needs and making product recommendations.
• Promote programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.
