The Cashier position at Chicken Salad Chick involves preparing a variety of food products while adhering to strict standards for quality and cleanliness. This role is essential in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the brand's reputation. The position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, with flexible scheduling and a focus on teamwork and service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of food products including chicken salads, pimento cheese, side salads, soups, sauces, cookies, and desserts.
• Adhere to CSC standards for recipes and Speed of Service (SOS) goals.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Complete opening and closing prep and checklists.
• Refer to Daily Prep List for assigned duties at the start of each shift.
• Understand and comply with CSC standard portion sizes and cooking methods.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station including tables, shelves, and kitchen equipment.
• Close the kitchen properly following the closing checklist and assist others in closing the kitchen.
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
• Report equipment and food quality problems to Management promptly.
• Inform Management immediately of product shortages.
• Use Standard Recipe Cards for preparing all products.

Requirements

• Ability to prepare food products according to specified recipes and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain quality service.
• Good communication skills to report issues and collaborate with team members.
