About the position

Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Sales Associate, where you'll be the heartbeat of our store, ensuring customers have a pleasant shopping experience. This part-time role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, and managing cash transactions, all while contributing to a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Be the friendly face that greets customers and ensures a pleasant shopping experience.
• Keep shelves stocked, displays appealing, and the store clean.
• Master upselling and suggestive selling to enhance customer experience and achieve sales goals.
• Encourage customers to join our loyalty rewards program and highlight its benefits.
• Efficiently manage the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment by adhering to safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and assist where needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, including restrooms and outdoor spaces.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older (or 21 in certain states).
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
• Physical ability to frequently lift 10 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
