About the position

As a Cashier/Sales Associate at GPM Investments LLC, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for customers at our community hub. Your responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, managing cash transactions, and promoting our brand and loyalty programs. This position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Be the friendly face that greets customers and ensures a pleasant shopping experience.
  • Keep shelves stocked, displays appealing, and the store clean.
  • Master upselling and suggestive selling to enhance customer experience and achieve sales goals.
  • Encourage customers to join our loyalty rewards program and highlight its benefits.
  • Efficiently manage the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment by adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and assist where needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the store, including restrooms and outdoor spaces.
  • Participate in keeping the outdoor space clean and welcoming.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Physical ability to frequently lift 10 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background check.
  • Personable and positive demeanor with a knack for making people feel welcome.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on customer experience.
  • Reliable and responsible with punctuality and trustworthiness.
  • Flexible and adaptable to various tasks in a fast-paced environment.
