About the position

As a Cashier/Sales Associate at Admiral, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for customers. Your responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, managing cash transactions, and promoting the brand's loyalty program. Responsibilities

• Be the friendly face that greets customers and ensures a pleasant shopping experience.
• Keep shelves stocked, displays appealing, and the store clean.
• Master upselling and suggestive selling to enhance customer experience and achieve sales goals.
• Encourage customers to join the loyalty rewards program and highlight its benefits.
• Efficiently manage the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment by adhering to safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and assist where needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, including restrooms and outdoor spaces.
• Participate in keeping the outdoor space clean and welcoming.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older (or 21 in certain states).
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
• Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background check.
• Personable and positive demeanor with a knack for making people feel welcome.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on customer experience.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic.
• Flexible and adaptable to various tasks in a fast-paced environment.
