About the position

As a Mid/Second Shift Associate at our convenience store and gas station, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service during the bustling midday and early evening hours. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a lively environment and enjoy engaging with a diverse range of customers. You will be part of a supportive team, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while managing store operations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-notch service during busy midday and evening hours, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Manage the store's appearance and stock, keeping everything organized and appealing.
• Handle a high volume of transactions efficiently and with a friendly attitude.
• Ensure a secure and safe shopping environment during the mid/second shift.
• Collaborate with colleagues to address the unique challenges of the afternoon and early evening.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the store, including the coffee station and restrooms.
• Manage stock levels and assist in inventory processes to meet customer needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older in specified states, or 21 years or older in others.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
• Physical ability to frequently lift 10 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Friendly demeanor with a knack for making customers feel welcome.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on enhancing customer experience.
• Reliable presence during critical midday and early evening hours.
• Flexible and adaptable to various tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but not required.
