As a Morning Shift Associate at our convenience store and gas station, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, creating a welcoming atmosphere that sets a positive tone for their day. This role involves engaging with early morning patrons, ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized, and providing excellent customer service during the bustling morning hours. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and energetically as they start their day.
• Restock and organize shelves to maintain a fresh and inviting store appearance.
• Ensure the coffee station is well-stocked and ready for customers.
• Handle morning transactions efficiently and cheerfully as a cashier.
• Maintain a secure and safe environment during busy morning hours.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak times.
• Keep the store and restrooms clean and welcoming for customers.
• Maintain the outdoor area to ensure it is neat and attractive for customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older (21 in certain states).
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
• Physical ability to frequently lift 10 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background check.
• Personable and positive demeanor to create a welcoming environment.
• Detail-oriented to enhance customer experience.
• Reliable and responsible with punctuality and trustworthiness.
• Flexible and adaptable to various tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
