About the position

The Overnight Sales Associate position at GPM Investments LLC is designed for individuals who thrive in a night-time environment and are passionate about providing exceptional customer service. As a key member of the 3rd shift team, you will engage with customers, handle cash transactions, and maintain store operations during the night. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and provide fast, efficient service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using an electronic cash register, including refunds and exchanges.
• Count money at the beginning and end of each shift as part of the shift change process.
• Process specialty products such as money orders, credit card purchases, checks, and lottery sales.
• Check identifications to enforce age restrictions for restricted sales.
• Restock shelves and maintain inventory for nighttime customers.
• Sanitize equipment and areas to maintain a clean environment.
• Regularly clean and empty trash containers to keep the premises tidy.
• Check in vendor deliveries and ensure proper stock rotation and removal of damaged goods.
• Complete bad merchandise forms to address operational issues.
• Adapt to various duties as assigned to meet store needs.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older (or 21 in certain states).
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
• Physical ability to frequently lift 10 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on customer experience.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Flexible and adaptable to various tasks and responsibilities.
