The Cashier/Sales Associate at The Salvation Army is responsible for providing excellent customer service to shoppers and donors while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers and donors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Accurately manage personal cash drawer, including opening, closing, and balancing.
• Understand and effectively use the Point of Sales system to complete sales.
• Follow all Salvation Army policies regarding the sale of merchandise.
• Keep the sales floor stocked and assist in meeting production goals.
• Greet customers and offer assistance as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or currently pursuing one.
• Basic math skills and ability to give change accurately.
• Basic computer skills, including use of the Point of Sales system.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
