The Cashier/Stocker/Customer Service position at Bargain Thrift Store is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service while managing cash transactions and stocking merchandise. Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong customer service focus by providing exceptional service during transactions and ensuring a positive customer experience at the front end.
• Operate cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Work with a team to stock upwards of 3500 clothing & home décor items each day.
• Ensure the store remains neat, clean, and organized, addressing potential safety hazards promptly.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve the efficiency of front-end activities.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills with experience in retail sales.
• Proficiency in operating POS systems and cash registers.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating totals.
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
