About the position

Responsible for handling Guest check money transactions in a prompt courteous manner and in accordance with the Company's high standards of Guest Services. The position requires effective interaction with the public and Team Members, performing excellent customer service at all times. The individual will receive payments from food and beverage Guests, make changes, and issue receipts promptly and courteously. Adherence to established cash control policies and procedures is essential. The role also involves answering Guest questions, directing concerns to management, advising Guests of waiting times, and recommending beverage outlets. Handling Guest complaints and maintaining health, safety, and sanitation standards are also key responsibilities. The individual will participate as a team member with food servers, cooks, and supervisors to ensure a smoothly run operation that meets high standards of Guest Services.

Responsibilities

• Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members.
• Performs excellent customer service at all times.
• Receives payment from food and beverage Guests, makes changes and issues receipts.
• Adheres to established cash control policies and procedures.
• Answers any Guest questions and directs concerns to appropriate management.
• Advises Guest of waiting time and recommends beverage outlets.
• Handles any Guest complaints and resolves them quickly and courteously.
• Assists in maintaining standards of health, safety, and sanitation.
• Participates as a team member with food servers, bus persons, cooks, supervisors, and any pertinent company Team Members.
• Maintains compliance with all regulations of health and sanitation standards.
• Maintains a consistent and regular attendance record.
• Performs any reasonable request made by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous cashier experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
