About the position
As a Toll Collector at TTEC, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer experiences by providing friendly and efficient service at toll collection points. This position involves direct interaction with motorists, ensuring accurate toll collection, and maintaining operational reports. Your contributions will help uphold TTEC's reputation for exceptional customer service and support the overall success of the team.
Responsibilities
- Be the face and smile of the toll collection operations requiring individual service.
- Classify and collect proper toll amounts from motorists traveling through the toll lane.
- Make changes, issue receipts, and write insufficient fund slips.
- Complete operations reports and balance cash deposits at the end of the shift.
Requirements
- Pleasant and customer service-oriented manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current valid New Jersey driver's license.
- A vehicle to move from one toll plaza to another.
- Cash handling experience on a computerized system.
- Ability to work shifts that will likely include weekends.
