About the position
The position involves interacting with guests and maintaining cleanliness to support a productive and profitable restaurant environment. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, ensuring quick service, keeping the restaurant clean, and restocking supplies as needed.
Responsibilities
- Interact with guests regarding their food orders and needs, always smiling and greeting them properly.
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items.
- Create a positive energy by maintaining a positive attitude and addressing guest problems and opportunities.
- Keep the restaurant clean, including the dining room, patio, and restrooms, as directed by management.
- Stock and restock dining room facilities and cashier-area equipment and supplies as needed.
- Ensure safe and accurate money handling, maintaining cash variance within allowable limits according to company policy.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
- Complete all required training checklists and assist in training new GSAs.
Requirements
- No specific education is required.
- Some restaurant or retail experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of aspects of the restaurant industry is necessary.
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to perform money-related mathematical calculations.
- Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time.
- Ability to maintain a high level of patience with others and work closely with co-workers.
