Responsibilities

• Accurately process sales and payments for goods/services and provide receipts to customers.
• Ensure accurate scanning of all items being purchased.
• Handle all payments and transactions correctly.
• Balance cash tray daily and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Greet and acknowledge each customer, assisting them where possible.
• Provide answers to product and payment-related queries.
• Refer customers to the right person for queries and problem resolution.
• Process payments according to company procedure and issue receipts for payments received.
• Accurately calculate discounts and special offers, staying up to date on promotions.
• Assist in other areas such as shelf stocking, product display, pricing, and clean-up.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mathematical knowledge.
• Ability to complete assigned shifts.
• Desire to grow in the job, good judgment, adaptability, and organization.
• Some experience dealing with money preferable.
