About the position
The Cashier position at Sparrow's Nest Thrift Store is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service while handling transactions at the cash register. The role supports the mission of Home of the Sparrow by contributing to the thrift store's operations, which fund services for homeless women and children. The ideal candidate will be friendly, reliable, and customer-oriented, working approximately 15-20 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers at the cash register.
- Operate cash register accurately, handling transactions with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Adhere to cash handling procedures and maintain a high level of accuracy in all transactions.
Requirements
