As a cook at Kamps 1910 Cafe, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving meals in a supportive and well-trained environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare food for guests while following quality control standards and regulations.
• Fulfill guest orders in a timely manner, ensuring careful preparation of food items.
• Keep the work area clean and free of unsanitary items; properly dispose of waste.
• Remain knowledgeable about the restaurant menu and accommodate individual orders as requested.
• Work alongside team members to ensure streamlined service and achieve company goals.
• Ensure the food area is stocked and organized; alert the manager of inventory deficiencies.
• Maintain utensils in safe working condition and ensure cleanliness before each use.
• Clean and maintain the kitchen.

Requirements

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while standing for long periods.
• Ability to use food preparation equipment, including knives and other sharp objects.

• At least one year of experience as a cook.
