About the position

As a Part-Time Cashier at Northern Tool + Equipment, your primary responsibility will be to assist customers during the checkout process while maintaining high brand and execution standards. You will contribute to a positive shopping experience for tradespeople and weekend warriors alike, ensuring they have the right tools for their jobs. Your professional attitude will help create a lasting impression on our customers.

Responsibilities

• Greeting all customers as they enter the store and ensuring they enjoy the best shopping experience possible.
• Completing all transactions quickly and accurately.
• Offering our Protection Plan on all eligible products and promoting our credit card on all customer transactions.
• Being a Team Player by helping put away product, execute price changes, or other tasks that may help your team better serve our customers.

Requirements

• Prior retail sales, cashier or customer service experience admired, but not required.
• Flexible availability and willingness to work some weekends and holidays as needed.
• A love of tools & equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 70 Lbs.
• Service focused mindset.
