Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Collect money, checks, electronic payments, and coupons from guests, ensuring correct change is given.
• Scan or ring items accurately, identifying and entering department numbers and UPCs as needed.
• Assist guests in locating merchandise and answering questions or concerns.
• Bag guest merchandise carefully and assist with any inquiries.

Requirements

• Friendly and dependable demeanor.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Strong communication skills to assist guests effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous cashier or retail experience.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations.
