The Cashier position at Global Partners involves providing excellent customer service while managing cash transactions and maintaining store cleanliness. This role is essential for ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers and involves various responsibilities, including stocking shelves and performing light maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests
• Operate cash register and manage cash accountability
• Complete shift reports accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of the store including windows, floors, and bathrooms
• Stock shelves and coolers as needed
• Perform gasoline tank inventory and check deliveries from vendors
• Conduct yard maintenance tasks such as sweeping and shoveling
• Perform light equipment maintenance on pumps and lighting
• Assist with merchandising and other tasks assigned by management

Requirements

• Must wear required store uniform
• Availability for weekend, evening shifts, and holidays
• Must attend mandatory meetings such as T.A.M. and sexual harassment training
• Ability to communicate effectively with associates and guests
• Ability to count, read, and write accurately for paperwork
