About the position
The Casino Ambassador plays a crucial role in enhancing customer retention and loyalty at Boyd Gaming Corporation. This position involves direct interaction with guests on the casino floor, promoting the Players' Club benefits, and assisting with customer inquiries. The ambassador is responsible for recruiting new members, increasing rated play, and ensuring a high level of customer service to enhance the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Encourage customer retention and loyalty through direct contact, direct mail, telemarketing, and written correspondence.
- Recruit new memberships for the Players' Club and increase rated play.
- Circulate on the casino floor assisting guests with questions and requests.
- Provide excellent customer service and promote Players' Club benefits and events.
- Instruct customers on the Players' Club point system, awarding prizes and proper use of the club card.
- Assist Casino and Slot Hosts with Player development efforts and events.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to two years experience in customer service.
- Excellent oral and written skills and exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible in work schedule.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation, e-mail, and player tracking systems.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
