About the position

The Casino Host position at Hollywood Casino Perryville is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with VIP players through exceptional customer service and marketing strategies. The role focuses on enhancing customer retention and increasing company revenues by engaging with high-value guests on the casino floor and through various communication methods. The Casino Host will also assist in resolving guest issues and planning special events to stimulate revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with VIP players to grow the VIP player base and increase company revenues.
  • Attract and manage VIP customers through telemarketing and in-person contact on the casino floor.
  • Be visible and available on the casino floor to meet and greet VIP guests during visits and special events.
  • Resolve guest opportunities, conflicts, and complaints in a fair and equitable manner.
  • Maintain knowledge of casino marketing and player development promotions to encourage guest participation.
  • Make decisions regarding complimentary offerings based on recorded play and customer profitability.
  • Utilize various communication methods to solicit high-value players and grow existing business.
  • Support and promote superior customer service in accordance with company standards.
  • Establish communication with service departments to care for high-value players.
  • Maintain confidentiality of player information.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events to enhance customer service levels and stimulate revenue growth.
  • Utilize Sales Force (CMS) for tracking player contacts and preferences.
  • Review monthly metrics with the manager and set quarterly goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Associate's degree or minimum of three years customer service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of one year of Casino Guest Service experience, including Player Development, Slots, or Table Games.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Sales Force (CMS).
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and interpret data.
