About the position

The Casino Maintenance Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing various building mechanical equipment and systems within the casino environment. This role ensures optimal functionality of HVAC systems, plumbing, and other mechanical and electrical systems, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and perform repairs on assigned building mechanical equipment and controls.
• Complete reactive and preventive maintenance work orders and project-related work.
• Maintain various equipment such as HVAC equipment, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, boilers, and fire life safety systems.
• Familiarize with operations and troubleshooting of HVAC controls and Building Automated Systems (BAS).
• Assist in emergencies and respond to non-scheduled hours as needed.
• Complete work orders using a computerized maintenance work order system.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
• Work with and take direction from the FM Supervisor and FM Manager.
• Participate in training to increase job-related skills and assist in training other employees.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Technical school graduate.
• HVAC Certification (Preferred).
• Strong experience with commercial HVAC equipment and systems (Preferred).
• 1 year of Facility Maintenance experience required.
• Universal Tech Certification (EAP 608) (Preferred).
• Experience in repairing and maintaining assorted HVAC and central plant equipment.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and fabrication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision.
