About the position

As a Casino Manager at PENN Entertainment, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the casino, ensuring that both staff and guests have an enjoyable experience. You will be responsible for supervising staff during your designated shift, managing the overall operations of Table Games and Slots, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. In this role, you will oversee all gaming activities, ensuring the integrity of operations and the security of gaming equipment. You will be tasked with creating efficient schedules that align with labor costs while meeting staffing objectives and enhancing guest satisfaction. Additionally, you will assist in the budgeting process, providing recommendations and ensuring compliance with departmental budget initiatives. Your ability to monitor performance and profit objectives will be key to driving the success of the casino operations. You will also be responsible for maintaining the accountability of gaming equipment, managing table limits, and ensuring that all transactions are conducted accurately. Your role will involve close collaboration with the Vice President/Director to implement strategies that enhance customer engagement, optimize game layouts, and maximize profitability. Furthermore, you will handle all paperwork and communication related to the Table Games and Slots department, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your commitment to superior customer service will be essential in addressing any issues that arise and ensuring that all team members adhere to company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff and manage daily operations of a designated shift in the Casino Operations department.
  • Provide oversight for all games, game protection, and overall Table Games/Slots operations on their shift.
  • Support, administer, and manage operational goals and monitor achievements of performance and profit objectives.
  • Create effective and efficient schedules while maintaining labor costs and achieving guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations; ensure compliance with departmental budget initiatives.
  • Enthusiastically support and promote superior customer service in accordance with departmental and company standards.
  • Ensure customer service standards are followed by all team members and address issues as they arise.
  • Maintain the overall integrity of daily Table Games and/or Slot operations; provide oversight for the gaming floor.
  • Manage accountability of chips, cards, dice, and all other gaming equipment.
  • Verify table inventories and effectively manage table limits.
  • Work closely with Vice President/Director to implement strategies for engagement, customer service, revenue growth, and expense management.
  • Monitor chips and cash transactions between dealers and customers to ensure proper payouts.
  • Maintain and process all paperwork, logs, schedules, and communication pertaining to the Table Games/Slots department.
  • Address and manage team member feedback, suggestions, complaints, and grievances.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance within area of authority and report potential issues to management.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
