About the position

The Team Member at JOANN Stores is responsible for delivering a premium customer experience by inspiring creativity and ensuring customer satisfaction. This part-time role involves driving sales through product knowledge, engaging with customers, and maintaining store standards. Team Members are expected to contribute positively to the store environment and assist in various operational tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a premium customer experience by greeting customers and using the F.A.S.T. service model.
  • Process customer transactions efficiently at the cutting counter and cash register.
  • Lift and arrange items on shelves and racks, and unload freight from the truck.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization on the sales floor.
  • Invite customers to participate in store activities and drive sales through product knowledge.
  • Assist other Team Members with tasks and training new hires.

Requirements

  • No minimum education requirement, but a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • No experience required, but 1-3 years of experience in a customer-centric environment is preferred.
