About the position

The Team Member at JOANN is responsible for delivering a premium customer experience by inspiring creativity and making JOANN a happy place for customers. This role involves driving sales through product knowledge, innovative merchandising, and ensuring counter accuracy while contributing positively to the store environment through customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Greets every JOANN customer and uses the F.A.S.T. service model to meet their needs.
• Processes customer transactions at the cutting counter and cash register efficiently and professionally.
• Engages in friendly conversation with customers about their projects while serving them.
• Stocks shelves accurately according to planogram and maintains high productivity.
• Invites customers to participate in store activities and drives sales through product knowledge and suggestive selling.
• Assists other Team Members with tasks to exceed expectations set by Store Management.
• Works with Store Management on projects in a friendly and professional manner.

Requirements

• No minimum education requirement, but a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• No experience required, but 1-3 years of experience in a customer-centric environment is preferred.
