About the position
The Team Member at JOANN is responsible for delivering a premium customer experience by inspiring creativity and making JOANN a happy place for customers. This role involves driving sales through product knowledge, innovative merchandising, and ensuring counter accuracy while contributing positively to the store environment through customer interactions and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Greets every JOANN customer and uses the F.A.S.T. service model to meet their needs.
- Processes customer transactions at the cutting counter and cash register efficiently and professionally.
- Engages in friendly conversation with customers about their projects while serving them.
- Stocks shelves accurately according to planogram and maintains high productivity.
- Maintains high standards throughout the sales floor by cleaning and recovering shelves and putting away returns.
- Invites customers to participate in store activities and proactively drives sales through product knowledge and suggestive selling.
- Assists other Team Members with tasks to ensure the team exceeds expectations set by Store Management.
Requirements
- No minimum education requirement; High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- No experience required; 1-3 years previous experience in a customer-centric environment preferred.
