About the position

The CAT Tester role requires a frontend developer with experience in managing the CAT testing process. This position involves daily interactions with business and technology teams to ensure successful execution of testing across multiple applications, while also preparing summarized outputs on progress and issue remediation plans.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, execution, and management of the entire CAT testing process.
• Daily interaction with business and technology teams to ensure successful CAT execution.
• Prepare daily summarized outputs on progress and issue remediation plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and validate test scenarios.
• Execute test cases and track defects through the testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate with different leads to ensure testing deadlines are met.
• Document test results and develop test artifacts in ALM.
• Generate and share CAT artifacts with stakeholders.
• Manage the defect process according to the CAT Approach/Plan.
• Develop, modify, document, and execute test scripts, test cases, and test scenarios based on software requirements.
• Work with test leads to develop test plans.
• Write and implement manual and automated QA test plans.
• Conduct detailed analysis of test results from manual and automated testing.
• Log detailed defects and follow through for resolution and retesting.
• Investigate and propose methods for continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Experience Level 2 in CAT testing.
• Frontend development experience.
• Experience with Java, Python, R, XML, JSON.
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall development practices.
• Experience with ALM, UFT, Selenium, and VersionOne.
• Experience with database tools like SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with Shipping Services File and PostalOne eVS System.
• Experience working with mail.xml.
