About the position

The Catalog Data Research and Entry Specialist is responsible for researching and managing product data for UAC's electronic catalog. This role involves sourcing and verifying OEM and competitor part numbers, as well as confirming vehicle compatibility details such as year, make, model, and engine applications. Your work will be vital to ensuring that UAC's catalog remains accurate, detailed, and up-to-date for our customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Gather detailed data on OEM and competitor part numbers, vehicle applications, and product specifications for UAC's catalog.
• Enter product information accurately into the catalog system, focusing on details such as year, make, model, engine applications, and part compatibility.
• Cross-reference data sources to ensure the accuracy and reliability of part numbers, applications, and specifications.
• Regularly update catalog data to reflect new applications, expanded compatibility, or any changes in product specifications.
• Maintain organized records of research sources and data changes for easy reference and validation.

Requirements

• 1-3 years in data entry, cataloging, or data management, ideally within the automotive industry or aftermarket parts sector.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable with data management systems.
• Ability to conduct independent research and analyze product data.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems, particularly air conditioning components, is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in data management or automotive studies is an advantage.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and ensure accuracy under tight deadlines.
