About the position
AAA Auction Service is seeking a dedicated Cataloger and Photographer to join our growing team in Fort Wayne, IN. This position is essential for cataloging products as they arrive and capturing detailed photographs for our online auction platform. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in collectibles, which may include items such as vinyl records, Barbies, glassware, and various other collectibles. A significant part of the role involves writing creative and engaging descriptions to effectively advertise these items for auction. While the primary focus will be on cataloging, there will be occasions when photography will be required, making versatility in job tasks crucial. Candidates should be prepared to stand for extended periods as part of their responsibilities. This position offers flexibility in scheduling, with options for both part-time and full-time hours, and may require weekend availability depending on business needs. The pay for this role starts at $13.00 per hour, and we are looking to fill a position that will typically involve 30 to 40 hours of work per week, split between cataloging and photography tasks.
