Responsibilities
- Perform various welding and fabrication tasks according to safety guidelines and industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with a team to complete projects.
- Ensure proper maintenance and repair of marine equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Welder or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques.
- Knowledge of different types of metals.
- Ability to interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to use welding equipment and tools safely.
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina.
- Communication and teamwork skills.
- Certification in welding or relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be willing to work overtime when required.
