About the position
The Claims QA / File Reviewer position at The Jacobson Group involves critical review and analysis of incoming dwelling estimates to ensure they meet accuracy and compliance with carrier-specific guidelines. This role is essential during peak claim influx periods, requiring candidates to work extended hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal property claims adjusting and will be responsible for maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the claims process.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze incoming dwelling estimates for accuracy and compliance with carrier guidelines.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders throughout the claims process.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CAT claims adjuster handling personal property (not auto).
- Active Florida license required (candidates must appoint their license to our client; self-appointments will not be accepted).
- Proficiency in estimating software, preferably Xactimate or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of each phase of the claims handling process.
- Strong communication skills.
