About the position

The Governance Program Manager at ByteDance is responsible for developing and managing a product roadmap for a messaging automation platform. This role involves creating operational processes, leading product development, and monitoring product performance to ensure alignment with company objectives. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive product efficiency and success metrics improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a product roadmap for a messaging automation platform with built-in data-driven strategies.
  • Provide fluent operation processes and content creation guidelines for the platform.
  • Schedule regular check-ins with stakeholders on project requirements, product status, feedback, and performance to ensure aligned objectives and key results on a quarterly basis.
  • Lead product development from conducting initial project requirements management to post-live analysis, driving the best product efficiency and experience.
  • Monitor quantitative product performance and collect qualitative feedback regularly after product launch to successfully drive success metrics improvement.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Management or related field and 3 years of related work experience; or a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.
  • 3 years of experience analyzing sales operations data using data analytics tools SQL to improve sales operational processes, sales tools, and programs.
  • Experience planning, developing, and executing projects in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience managing key stakeholder relationships and gathering feedback to build programs aimed at driving customer revenue, growth, and retention.
  • Experience working within project or program team settings to diagnose problems, support decision making, influence project or program direction, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
