About the position
The Category Manager - Direct Electronics will play a crucial role in the supply chain team, focusing on direct purchasing for electronics and product development. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in manufacturing engineering and contract negotiation, aimed at optimizing procurement processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Support direct purchasing for electronics and product development.
- Engage in contract negotiation within a direct setting.
- Manage strategic sourcing initiatives for electronics and mechanical parts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards such as ISO 13485, AS9100, or ISO 9001.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Category Manager, Category Lead, or Supply Chain expert.
- Proficiency in SAP for supply chain management.
- Experience in direct purchasing of electronics or mechanical parts.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred.
- Strong background in manufacturing engineering support.
